Dr. Dana Ellis is a board-certified dermatologist who studied under Dr. Lisa Donofrio at Tulane University. Dr. Ellis graduated first in her class from Tulane University School of Medicine in 2012 and worked as a Resident of Dermatology at Tulane Medical Center for three years. During her final year, she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Ellis treats patients at Aria DermSpa as well as The Savin Center in New Haven. She specializes in PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) and hair restoration treatments, and has extensive experience in medical dermatology, including diagnosing and treating skin cancer. Dr. Ellis treats each patient with personalized care because she believes skin treatments are simply not “one-size-fits-all”.
Dr. Ellis’ individualized approach to skin care stems from her background as an athlete where she learned that each athlete, like each patient, has different needs. Before Dr. Ellis began her career in dermatology, she represented Canada in the 2004 Olympic Games as a pole vaulter.
